ecofestflyer13After last years 20th birthday celebration, the Magpie Eco Festival is now an annual event. This family friendly and FREE community event will be held on Saturday 5th October from 12noon until 9pm in Saunders Park – Brighton.

In addition to the outdoor Park Stage, this year will also feature Shabitat Indoor Acoustic Stage.  The “Crusty Disco”- a converted recycling milkfloat – will once again be providing a platform where you can be a DJ for 30 minutes.

Hollingdean HowlersCome along and release your inner diva! At Coachwerks, 19 Hollingdean Terrace BN1 7HB 6-8pm on June 2nd, June 23rd & July 7th.  All welcome any age/ability – free.

There are still a few places left on the Hollingdean Streetdance Project.  The sessions started last week at Hollingdean Community Centre, Thompson Road and run on Fridays in May, June and July. They are open to young people from 12 – 16 and sessions are just £1 each. Read the rest of this entry »
