Something of an environmental theme for next week’s events at the Hollingdean Community Centre:

Green-LivingWednesday 22 January – Free screening of “The Clean Bin Project”. A funny, inspiring short film about a couple’s decision to live without producing waste. The film will be followed by top tips, Q&A and a raffle. Doors open 6:30pm (film at 7pm). More info and a trailer on the Community Centre’s website.

Thursday 23 January  – The official launch of the Real Food (Hollingdean) project.  Come along and find out more about the project, learn about permaculture and the design process, and find out about our first gardening session. Found out how you can get involved. Event starts at 7:45pm.  More information here.

Sunday 23rd September 3pm at Hollingdean Community Centre – free event

cyclistAre you a nervous cyclist and would like to cycle more? Or are you a cyclist enthusiast and would like to share your experiences? Then why not come along to a free feature film with refreshments and a chat about cycling!  Come along and watch an Academy Award winning film on cycling with refreshments provided. This event will give you the opportunity to pair up with other cyclists for fun cycle rides and the possibility to increase your or others cycling confidence.
