Over £4million has been won by the city council to improve one of Brighton’s busiest roads and cut congestion. Lewes Road is also amongst the worst areas for air quality in the city. The funding will enable the council to tackle some of the difficulties experienced by those using this route in and out of the city.

There will be an exhibition about proposed transport improvements in the area held at the Hollingdean Community Centre for the week commencing 7 November.  Council staff will be on site on Friday 11 November 2pm – 8pm and Saturday 12 November 10am -4pm to talk with people about their views on proposals.
